In this project, we focused on designing a user experience and interface that seamlessly connects two very different audiences: delivery couriers and restaurant owners. We created two complementary experiences, each tailored to the specific needs, actions, and decision patterns of its users, while maintaining a unified visual language and a clear brand presence throughout the system.
For Delvo Partner, the courier-facing app, our goal was to empower couriers with clarity and full control. The interface displays all essential information at a glance, such as delivery compensation, pickup location, and estimated preparation time. This allows couriers to quickly assess whether a delivery suits them and act immediately. We designed an intelligent suggestion system that highlights additional deliveries from the same restaurant when relevant, helping couriers optimize their workflow and maximize earnings. We also crafted a streamlined communication experience through a clean and accessible chat interface, enabling direct interaction with both the restaurant and the customer, reducing friction and the need for external support.
For Delvo Business, the restaurant-facing app, we created an interface that feels like a clear and organized control center. The design supports receiving orders from multiple sources, updating preparation and pickup times, and assigning deliveries to available couriers through a simple, intuitive flow. The structure of the interface enables restaurant owners to easily understand real-time workload, track progress, and manage their operations smoothly. We also incorporated a visual logic that highlights preferred couriers based on reliability, proximity, and past performance.
Alongside the main applications, we designed a lightweight tracking experience for end customers. Once a courier is on the way, the customer receives an SMS with a link to a live status page. This tracking view was designed to be simple, calm, and informative, removing uncertainty and giving customers complete transparency without requiring them to download an app.
Across all parts of the system, we maintained a user-first approach with a focus on simplicity, visual clarity, and intuitive flow. Microinteractions, smart defaults, and contextual prompts were used to streamline the experience and help users take action with confidence. The result is a cohesive design ecosystem that creates transparency, strengthens trust, and elevates the entire delivery experience for couriers, restaurants, and customers alike.
